VISION SOLUTIONS FOR LIFE

New Patients

If you’ve been told your eyes are “fine” but something still feels off — you’re in the right place.  At Family Eyecare Solutions, we specialize in vision problems that a standard eye exam won’t catch. That includes lazy eye (amblyopia), eye turns (strabismus), convergence insufficiency, tracking and eye coordination disorders, and vision challenges that interfere with reading, learning, and daily life — in children and adults alike.  We take the time to truly listen, ask the right questions, and find real answers.

Appointments

We are always ready to help with scheduling or anything you may need during your time with us. We will take extra care to listen to your concerns, answer your questions and thoroughly explain your condition and treatment options. To schedule an appointment, please call us at (781) 829-9400 or use our online form.

Insurance & Fees

Family Eyecare Solutions is an out-of-network provider for all vision and medical insurance plans. This means we do not bill insurance directly, but we will provide you with a detailed receipt (superbill) after your visit that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Many patients find that their out-of-network benefits cover a meaningful portion of their evaluation and treatment costs. We encourage you to contact your insurance provider before your visit to ask about your out-of-network benefits for vision and medical eye care.

We are happy to answer any questions about fees during your free 15-minute consultation. Call us at (781) 829-9400 to get started.

What to Bring to Your First Appointment

• Your current glasses and/or contact lenses

• Any previous prescription or eye exam records

• A list of any medications you are currently taking

• Any school reports, evaluations, IEP documents, or neuropsychological testing that may be relevant to your visit — these can also be uploaded directly through the Patient Portal before your appointment

How Reimbursement Works — 4 Simple Steps

1. Call the member services number on your insurance card.

2. Ask: "What are my out-of-network vision or medical benefits?"

3. After your visit, we provide you with a detailed superbill — an itemized receipt your insurer needs to process your submission.

4. Submit the superbill directly to your insurance company. Reimbursement amounts vary by plan.
